We had a fun couple of days exhibiting outdoors at Geotechnica 2023 at the Warwickshire Event Centre. Close to 100 exhibitors filled the area, both inside and out with plenty of impressive industry machines on display.

On Wednesday 15th March, we attended the BGA’s 61st Rankine Dinner in honour of the 2023 Rankine Lecturer, Professor John Carter, University of Newcastle, Australia which was held at Imperial College, London.

On Wednesday 19th October, The Geotechnical Society of Ireland hosted its five-year conference in Portlaoise on the topic of Geotechnical Engineering for Renewable Energy.

CPT’22 – 5th International Symposium on Cone Penetration Testing took place in Bologna, Italy, on 8-10th June 2022.

In Situ Site Investigation recently sponsored a local charity based in East Sussex. ‘Kids in Mind Angling Adventures’ held its first fishing event for children aged 4-12 last month.

In Situ Site Investigation recently exhibited at the BDA’s seminar “Drilling in Support of a New Zero Scotland by 2045”, which was held on 27th April at Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh.

In the latest issue of the AGS Magazine, In Situ’s John Holt and Thomas Cragg from Cambridge Insitu provided an article on an introduction to pressuremeters.

Over the years, we have worked with many universities across the country on research projects and papers.

We have recently purchased our first ‘track truck’ to add to our ever-expanding fleet of CPT rigs.
